YEAH! I had such a fun class on Saturday at Zinnia. Here is what those creative girls did-

Erin- broke every rule I could think of... took each piece to the brink of ruin and then brought them here... amazing. I learned a lot from her! Erin, I am still loving the wood. :)

Oh my...

I was feeling kinda low last week, and finally had to make a trip to the Dr. You know when you are driving and you ask yourself, "should I be driving?" yeah, it was kinda like that. The Dr. confirmed that yes I am a big baby about being sick, and that I had bronchitis.EEEWWWW. What a yucky thing to get, so much coughing involved. You are like a leper, and I  mean no disrespect to any of you lepers who might be reading this. I realized that TV does really suck, and than I am a boring person, and that I can actually force myself to go to sleep. A mere three 3 hour naps a day can really make the time pass. One thing that was sweet, (besides my husband of course- thanks honey) was my cat, who didn't ever leave me for long. If I slept upstairs, she was there on the bed, if I was on the couch, she was on me on on the back watching me. Anytime I would wake up those yellow eyes were on me. I would like to think it love, but I have to wonder if she was waiting for me to stop breathing so she could eat my face off. You never know.

So that was the last 5 days of my existence, and I am already making kits and packing art supplies for a busy weekend ahead. I will be teaching in Santa Clarita at the Craft Lab on Friday night from 7-10 pm ( isn't that fun?) and then on Saturday at Zinnia ( yeah! in my own backyard!) 'Hey there'

Around our house, or if you have ever met Harry, you have been thrown a "Hey there". It is a thing he says. It means 'hi' or 'I love you' or 'I have a cat on me' or ' I'm o.k. are you?'. I've grown to love the ' hey there's'. Yesterday while Harry was checking on his mom's house the next door neighbor kid- who is probably 4 years old, comes running out of his house, across his lawn to Emily's yard stopping just short of the porch- naked as the day he was born. Harry gives him the once over then throws out the ' hey there' , where upon naked boy runs back home. As he enters his house Harry can hear him
say, "hey there". He now has the "hey there" in his brain. It means something to us because the "hey there" is from a friend of ours who was killed a few years back just days before Christmas. He was only about 40, and his loss was great and is still felt today. Knowing that the "hey there" continues brought a smile to us both. Hey there Steve.

shhhh I'm actually at work

as I type this. It is a good thing that I work for my father, and I have access to the bank account. It has been such a nutty week here I just had to stop in and tell you so.  Yesterday something fell out of an older gentleman's pocket, my father asked Shirley to pick it up for him. It was his preparation H.  Today at lunch we had star sighting look alikes, we saw Danny Bonaduce, Anthony Bourdain, and Bret Michaels. See how random each of those stories was? That was our week. That random and bizarre. O.K. I am getting back to it to gather more stories for you.
