Do you know this dog?
I live in Pasadena. The city. So I am always surprised by sites like this. Harry and I guess this guy to be under a year old. We have seen him before, but dang he looks relaxed in our yard. I saw him, and ran to usher the cats into the house and then we all huddled around the windows to watch beautiful him.

The school where my son goes is home to coyotes; they keep the rabbit population in check. Usually we don't get to see any, but the other day, mid-afternoon, there was one loping through the scrub. It was something that just made me stop and remember that we share this world; city or not.
(Yep, old tool boxes, rescued from GoodWill, I am addicted to collecting them, but have decided that I will only get the blue and green ones, leaving the red ones to some other lucky gal.)
Hugs.

What a privelege; a wild creature in our midst. Imagine what that means. No food dish. No one to pet it or show it love. Just intelligence, awareness, and courage. My heart goes out to this living being. He or she has so many qualities that I admire.

I agree- I see it as a blessing when wild things show themselves to me.
