Annie Oakley and the best Martini ever
I had the pleasure of meeting one of my blog-land heroes Mary-Ann Moss on Friday. It was hard to converse with her because I was too busy taking in the visual wonder that is her home and workspace. M.A., I can under certain circumstances make sentences, but if you give that much to look at and a drink- whew - well, words are just too much for me to muster you are lucky you got grunts. We sat on the porch with our mutual friend Paul , drinks and snacks- cats darting about and enjoyed the sunset. I have to tell you- I rarely sit still that long to see the sun set so it was very nice for me. It turns out that M.A. is not just an amazing artist, but a true mixologist as well. I had never had a martini, and really wasn't so sure I'd like it, but she made mine "light" and it was pink and had sugar and cinnamon on the rim, and it was all I could do to not just gulp it down and ask for a 52 oz. version. Though we were NOT drunk, later we did our best impressions of Annie Oakley. It was just a wonderful evening!
cinnamon sugar AND pink?? yes please pass me the 52 oz. big gulp size! or at least the recipe hehe!! oxox

You should have been here last night to see me cussing up a storm as I stormed up the hill in that lane behind my house to chase down some punks who threw rocks at my garage. Where are the big guns when you need them? I got a better use for them then shooting out street lights. Not that we did that. Or tried to even. Or would even want to. But let's say we did....and let's say that you left something behind at my house. And let's say that I put a bb in a fleeing punk's ass. That would be really cool wouldn't it?
Now where'd I put my NRA application?
