This piece done in wax, has been floating around  my  studio space for a  few months. Finally finished off the edges and placed a hook! I can't  really call it encaustic as I didn't paint with the wax, but I did add just a touch of color with melted crayons! I love the buttery  look , and the surface has some wax bumps, that are so enticing. You are drawn to touch it.
