Whew-
The holiday is over... and I have been trying to get life back to "normal". I cleaned out my work space which had become a giant junk pile over the holiday boutique season, and that gets me inspired to get back in there and get some crafting done. I also began boxing up Christmas decorations which also gets me inspired to focus on other things besides holidays. Not to sound all grinch like, but I wasn't really into it all this year. I was feeling a little bit overwhelmed plus with news of a friends death on the 23rd. we were feeling kind of quiet this year. Don't get me wrong, we did have a lovely holiday and a big ole' sit down dinner for 14 on Christmas eve, but H and I just were not really amped up about it all this year. Now, lets talk about New Years! I LOVE New Years. I don't go out, but it is one of my most favorite events. I think that H and I might have to have a quiet little eve dinner together to celebrate- something special and lots of candles.
New news is that I have finally gotten off my behind ( due mostly to threats from Michelle Caplan- Thanks girl!) and posted some items on Etsy. I am very excited to have these things up, and I hope that I will just get better and better at posting. I find it a little confusing right now... so this year I will get it all figured out! Go give my shop a look!!!
This is a Christmas gift that I am gifting tonight. I am really happy with how it turned out. The flower fabric was actually given to me by Stephanie of little birds, and I love it! The writing in the corner is all kind of funny quotes about dogs. She has a dog who is the apple of her eye~
I know that she won't see this post until next week so the coast is clear. :) And, as a side note- I have now been blogging for a year! So, I would like to thank all 4 of my readers for a great year!!!!hehehe

Bazaar Bizarre was a successful day. I would have preferred that it didn't rain, and that I sold out, but those two points aside, it went great. Thanks to those who came out to support crafter/artist- we appreciate you!! I think that the quality of vendors was high this year. I saw many beautiful things... that I won't speak of as some might be gifties!!! I did get some organic catnip though from the cutest girl from Mao-cat. When we got home ( Harry vended with me all day - how sweet is that?!) I just dropped my stuff at the door. Yes I am THAT girl who makes a pile at the door. Our little pookie Neko actually dug in my purse, got the cat nip out, chewed a hole in the bag and then proceeded with her party. I was so surprised!!! It was really funny. Anyway, I posted a bunch of new pictures on my flickr site of bazbiz and mini quits, and fairy houses that I had not shown before, so go ck. those out. There is a link under "cool places" just to the right.

Just finishing up some stuff to take to bazaar bizarre tomorrow. It seems I no sooner finish one thing, and I think of 3 more things that I need to do. Maybe I should eat something.... I just finished framing out these pieces and wanted to share.

I also wanted to share this picture that I re-found. It is of my older brother and myself, and it makes me so happy - the sheer joy on our faces cracks me up.
I just got the e-mail giving us the final low down on set up for Bazaar bizarre. I am so excited now, and it 11:00pm- I just feel like staying up and sewing..... I am sure that tomorrow morning I will feel differently about that idea. How am I gonna sleep?!?
My bunny making fingers are getting so tired!!!! I have been working like crazy to get stuff done for Bazaar Bizarre I am so looking forward to it. I did take a break yesterday to go and see Felt Club. I had never been to one, and it was really great. Lizette Greco was there, as was Michelle Caplan, and Jaime Zollars just to name a few. It was a terrific break from my own crafting. I then decided to just keep going after felt club and get my errands done, but you know when you are tired and getting hungry and then start to make bad decisions? That was me. And I had a lot to do, and traffic was nuts in Pasadena. I was on Arroyo Parkway headed South to Staples when I saw it, A CUPCAKE SHOP!!!! After Staples, I was going North and there just happened to be parking right in front. It was fate I tell ya. They were kinda blown out of cupcakes due some big events, but the owner, and the other girl were so friendly and understood the importance of a cupcake to save my life. It was wonderful!!! It is the cutest place so if you are in Pasadena, go ck. it out, Dots Cupcakes on Arroyo Parkway. But don't eat all the chocolate ones, those are for me!!!
