Sadly my week involved a funeral, and I have not been creative. Just Planning. I hope to have some eye candy for you next week. Wish me luck.
This piece is called "slow learner". One of the weekend pieces. I am really happy with how it came out. It is made from tea dyed muslin, cotton, and hemp. Frame size is 6 x8 image size is 3.5 x 5.5.

This is one of the gang that we take care of... her name is ghost. She is super bright, glow in dark white. She was helping me take pictures today.
The soup update... last nights adventure in homemade soup was carrot. A bit messy, more than one container to make, but still pretty easy. It did turn out a bit sweet for my liking. I had a little this morning, and it was better. I think I might try French Onion next week.
I am so sorry for the glare on this picture. It is so overcast outside that I can't get a decent photo, so I did it inside. I am just so excited about these new pieces that I wanted to share. This piece is tilted " words in my head". It is printed muslin, and organic hemp. Frame size is 6 x8 inches, image size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches. I have more to show, but I am going to wait until I have some better pictures. Have a great Monday-
Been a busy and productive weekend!!! Lots of new stuff to show you this week. I am hoping to photograph this afternoon so that I can share here.

I hope you can make it to an event- stop in and say "hi"
This is a new piece. I framed it this weekend, and unfortunately you can see a bit of glare. It is fabric, ribbon, and the cutest vintage doll buttons. I love these images- just a little bit creepy, but not overtly creepy.
In other un- creepy news, I made the yummiest soup for dinner tonight. When I make soup, I do it in like 15 min. I just chop stuff up - not neatly, and throw it in a pot and let it simmer. I think it is a sign of getting older when you get excited about soup for dinner. My husband doesn't know how much he saves me from being the crazy soup eating spinster cat lady. Thanks Harry I owe you one.
I swear I only stepped away from the computer for a minute, and then it turns into days without a post. I kind of took the weekend off from all the things that I "should" do and mostly goofed off, and it was wonderful. I indulged myself with craft and coffee and made a few fairy houses for the various holiday events that I will be selling at. I will get some pics up soon and show you. The weather has turned a bit, and I love it. Last night I built a fire. What a joy.
